The release today, by OCDO Office of Chief Dental Officer England of the ‘Standard operating procedure Transition to recovery’ brings some welcome clarification of the ongoing debate regarding Inhalation Sedation as a AGP.
Page 24 of this document clearly states “Inhalation sedation is not considered an AGP and may be a suitable alternative to general anaesthesia for children needing dental care”.
